Warehouse Expansion

WACOMM was engaged by FDC Design and Construct to complete the electrical package for a freezer expansion and temperature controlled warehouse expansion and renovation. WACOMM have been working with Metcash for an excess of 25 years, so it was a natural choice for FDC to put their faith in WACOMM to assist with the next phase of Metcash’s development.

The project consisted of the below points with phase 2 of the project set for 2024/2025.

  • Disconnection and removal of old and redundant services
  • Installation of new LED high bay lighting
  • Installation of new main switchboards
  • Installation of new exit/emergency lighting
  • Installation of new CBUS lighting control system
  • Installation of new truck docks
  • Decommissioning of old power generation system
  • Installation of power for new automated roller doors
  • Provide electrical manuals, drawings and engineering support
